For all commissioned pieces, A 50% deposit is required before manufacturing work or purchase of materials will be commenced. Once the client has given the go-ahead for a design and manufacturing work has begun, any change to the design will bear an additional cost. The balance for a commission is to be paid upon completion and collection of the product. Should courier of the finished item be required, payment of the balance shall be required prior to the courier’s collection of the parcel. In the event that the balance is not paid, the 50% deposit and the item shall be forfeited to cover manufacturing costs. Prices are subject to change according to dollar/rand fluctuations and quotations are only valid for 10 days. Should an item remain uncollected more than 6 months after the date of completion (taken as the day on which the client was notified that their commission was ready for collection), then the item shall be considered forfeit. This deadline may only be briefly extended, in the event of extenuating circumstances.
The product will be manufactured according to the final design as discussed and approved by the client. Nicole Jordan designer jewellery shall not be held liable for any damaged stones supplied by the client. Stones supplied by the client shall be identified solely by colour, shape and size; unless a valid certificate is provided.
Jewellery given in to the studio for repair or modification falls under the purview of the company’s insurance. Nicole Jordan designer studio will not be held accountable if a specific concern is not covered by our insurer.
